Realise I have an old phone but was hoping to use this app when I begin commuting (tomorrow!). I updated my iOS especially (and freed up a bunch of memory) to give it the best chance of working efficiently. My iPhone 3G is running iOS 4.2.1, and I'm running the latest version of the app (though struggling to find which version it is from the app itself, not contained in 'about' tab?). I've only been looking at the route planner and the settings so far but here's what's happening:
The settings aren't retained by the app. Every time I open it, it has reverted to the default. So no home setting either. It is however saving favourites.
When looking at route in overview (just zooming in and following the path) app crashes within a few minutes.
As said, I've not ridden with it yet, and hopefully it will not crash when it is in ride mode. There doesn't seem to be many complaints about crashing.
But if you've any suggestions/comments they will be gratefully received, even if it's just 'your phone is too old'!
