CTC’s road hazard reporting site Fill That Hole has gone mobile. The new iPhone app allows users to report potholes, raised drain covers, poor road repairs and other hazards direct from the location.
Press ‘submit’ and a geo-tagged photo and description of the hazard are posted to the Fill That Hole website. CTC reports that 31 percent of the hazards listed on FillThatHole.org.uk get fixed.
The app – sponsored by Aggregate Industries – is free to download and is available from the iTunes App Store.
Cyclists will soon be armed with a number of handy iPhone apps, including a journey planner and bike shop finder from Bike Hub and a cycle campaigning app from Cyclestreets of Cambridge which will allow users to submit geo-tagged photos of poor cycling facilities.
