Conference is cycle training ‘toolkit’s

‘A toolkit for cycle training organisers’s is the title of this year’s CTC National Cycle Training & Education Conference. The event, which follows this month’s launch of the new National Standard for cycle training, is aimed at anyone with an interest in the promotion of cycling and takes place on 11th-12th May at Warwick University.

The new two day format comprises a full day’s master class in National Standard instruction, including a live demonstration of on-road training, followed by a workshop-based conference day.

CTC training department manager, Kieran Flynn, said: “As the implementation of the National Standard for cycle training becomes widespread, this conference is an opportunity to have an input into its development and share the experience of leading practitioners in the field.”
