Live in London? Apply for a cycling community grant

In 2005 the £100,000 grant fund provided 36 grants to groups across London. The innovation and successes the grant inspired has led to the scheme being repeated and enlarged to £150,000 for 2006.

The aim of the community grant is to contribute to the resources needed by local groups to hold events or start projects which promote the benefits of cycling in their neighbourhood. And this year, the criteria for funding additionally challenges local groups to address key target groups and issues arising from the most recent market research of attitudes to cycling conducted by Transport for London.

Eligible organisations for the 2006 community grant must be based or operate inside Greater London and fall within the following groups:
