27/10/2004 News27th October: Success in integrating bike and rail travel was recognised at a ceremony in London on Tuesday 26th October, with awards to presented by Tony McNulty, Minister of State for Transport. He said: ” “The award winners rightly deserve congratulations for the work they’ve done to help cyclists use the train. Bike and rail is often a practical option which enables travellers to leave the car at home. I hope that our recent Bike and Rail Good Practice Guide and the imminent SRA Cycling Policy will ensure the good work recognised by the Connections awards is built on by the industry.”
